for founders and venture builders
A software factory that runs on your own coding agents.
Starplex is an issue tracker that also does the work. Your own coding agents, such as Claude Code, Codex or OpenCode, pick up its tickets and work through many at once, on your own machines. Every change gets a blind review, ideally by a different model family, and riskier work gets more checks. You decide what gets built and what merges.
Four parts, one factory
Building your own software factory means wiring a tracker, prompts, review steps and agent sessions together by hand. Starplex is that factory, already built.
issue tracker
Tickets, designs and decisions in one place
Use it instead of a separate tracker. Work is tracked as tickets, like any tracker. Designs, reviews, decisions and incident write-ups sit on the same tickets, with one search across all of it, so agents find what was already decided.
workflow engine
Many tickets in parallel
Say what you want built. Starplex breaks it into tickets, works out which depend on which, and moves many forward in parallel. Agents stop for you at a real choice, a blocker, or a merge.
quality controls
Checks that match the risk
When a ticket is filed, your agent grades how risky the change is and how likely it is to drift from what you asked, and you can raise or lower the grade. Simple work moves quickly; risky work gets more reviewers and waits for your go-ahead.
starplex cli
The right model for each job
Your agent can run the work as its own subagents. Or the Starplex CLI starts separate agents on your machines, picks each model by capability and cost, and has a different model family review the work.
Bring your own agent
Starplex isn't a cloud service that runs agents for you. You keep working the way you do now, in your own coding agent, with your own model accounts. Starplex adds the tracker, the workflow and the checks around it.

- You and your agentClaude Code, Codex, OpenCode or another MCP-capable agent, running as it does today. This is where you make the calls and approve work.
- The Starplex CLIStarts the agents that build and review tickets, using your own model accounts, from Anthropic and OpenAI to open models such as DeepSeek.
- Your codeStays in your repositories, on GitHub. Agents work in local copies, and changes arrive as pull requests.

- The trackerTickets, designs, reviews, decisions and their history. This is what Starplex stores, not your codebase.
- The workflowWhat happens next on each ticket, who reviews it, and when to ask you.
- The web appWhere you set up projects, plan, and see how work is moving.
Checks that grow with the risk
Every ticket gets a risk grade before work starts, and each level adds to the one before. The grade decides how much checking it gets, so small fixes aren't slowed down and risky changes aren't waved through. Whatever the grade, nothing merges until you say so.
| risk | what the work gets |
|---|---|
| Low | New features get a written design, reviewed before any code is written. Every change gets a blind review, by a different model family where you have one. The reviewer also checks that each test fails when the code it covers breaks. |
| Medium | Several reviewers instead of one. |
| High | Specialist reviewers where the work needs them, and nothing is built until you give the go-ahead. |
Start with one ticket. Grow to many.
Once it's set up, you don't have to change how you work.
day one
A tracker with a guide
File a ticket and work it with your agent, one at a time, the way you would with any tracker. Starplex walks the agent through design, review and merge, and keeps the record.
as you get going
A factory floor
Hand over goals instead of single tasks. Many tickets move at once, and your time goes on the choices only you can make.
Starplex is invite-only.
There's no public install yet. Email hello@starplex.dev and tell us what you're building and where it's slowing down.
